TAILORING
While in graduate school, Vanessa is focusing on men's tailoring under her academic advisor, Laura Robinson. She took some basic couture and tailoring classes in her undergraduate program.

TAILORING CLASS: 1940s SUIT - AUTUMN 2023
Laura Robinson, Vanessa's primary academic advisor, is known for her tailoring. One of the courses Penn State graduate students take is a tailoring class, in which students make a custom three-piece suit from scratch for a fit model. This is the first suit Vanessa has patterned and constructed -- hopefully one of many.
